Lawson, a mother of three young boys, was inspired to open her own photography business after taking her kids to other photography studios and feeling that their pictures could have been better.   She’s taken photography and fine art classes for years, and is skilled at capturing the perfect picture.   

Melissa Lawson Photography specializes in digital photographs for any special occasion including weddings, children’s photos, maternity photos, high school senior pictures, family portraits and much more.  She operates her studio from her Harrisonville, Missouri home and has been a member of the Harrisonville Chamber of Commerce since 2006 and National Association of Photoshop Professionals since 2007.
